Governing Body
IFCPAR is managed by a Governing Body consisting of five Indian members and five French members, nominated by the respective Governments. The Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and the Directeur de la Direction du Développement de la Coopération Scientifique et Technique at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are the Co-Chairpersons of the Governing Body

Scientific Council
A Scientific Council, with five eminent scientists from each of the two countries as its members, identifies thrust areas of research, selects research themes for support by the centre and evaluates proposals for joint research and other scientific activities as may be desired by the Governing Body

Industrial Research Committee
The Industrial Research Committee consists of illustrious scientists with long experience of association with Indian and French industries. The Director, IFCPAR is also a member of the Industrial Research Committee. The Committee has evolved specific mechanisms for soliciting good proposals which can be supported by the Centre through a) identification of topics/themes for organization of seminars b) visit to industrial clusters to explore possibilities of future collaborative projects c) discussion with industry association for evolving methodologies for collaborative industrial research projects.
MEMBERS OF THE INDUSTRIAL RESEARCH COMMITTEE
Director
The Director of IFCPAR is an Indian national appointed by the Governing Body. He/she is responsible for the implementation of the decisions of the governing body and is in charge of the normal activities and obligations of the centre. The Director is supported by three technical and nine administrative & accounts personnel.
