Prof. Nitin Seth is currently the Director, Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR/CEFIPRA). CEFIPRA is a bilateral center setup by the Department of science and Technology, Government of India and Ministry of European and Foreign Affairs, Government of France.

Prof. Nitin Seth has more than 25 years of professional experience in Industry, Teaching, Research, Consulting and Training. He received his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi). He has several years of Post-doctoral research experience from GIZ/DIE Germany and Ecole Des Mines, Saint Etienne, France.

Prof. Nitin Seth has extensive experience in handling numerous international projects including trainings/assignments in more than 40 countries including the European, Asian and African continents. Some of the major countries where he handled international projects are from: Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxemburg, Finland, Austria, Ethiopia, Eygpt, Tunisia, Ghana, South Africa, Singapore and UAE.

Prof. Seth has many publications in international journals of repute and published several important papers related to international cooperation and training. He is winner of Emerald Literati award for his contributions on service quality that has resulted as a text book in many international universities. He is serving on the editorial board of some of the important international journals. Prof. Seth has guided a 15 PhD scholars, 250+ post-graduate and 100+ undergraduate students.

He has organized more than 150 programmes/sessions on various topics/issues of National/International Business and trained more than 3000 professionals/exporters. He has extensively worked on supply chain and leveraging the efficiency and effectiveness of Indian and global supply chains. His work on the Sectorial logistics performance is highly appreciated by the NITI AAYOG, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Agriculture ministry and other export promotion councils.

Prof. Nitin Seth is currently working with G20 Logistics group, Science diplomacy, and various national and state level research committees. He has been nominated as member for Research Advisory Committee in petroleum ministry, Government of India. He is the executive board member and academic council member of several universities.
