This scheme supports seminars and workshops focused on fundamental research topics of mutual interest. CEFIPRA facilitates these academic gatherings in emerging and applied areas of science and technology. The primary objective is to foster collaborative interactions among Indian and French scientists and technologists, ultimately promoting both Academia-Academia and Industry-Academia partnerships.

1. Health Sciences: Sub areas: i) One Health & Climate Change, ii) Early detection of emerging/important pathogens, iii) Developments of new vaccines and therapeutics for infectious diseases, iv) AI for early diagnosis of emerging/important diseases, v) Comprehensive studies on metabolic and cardiovascular diseases and vi) Novel therapeutics and biological for emerging/important diseases.
2. Marine Sciences: Sub areas: i) Underwater Systems, ii) Instrumentation & Robotics, iii) Advanced Materials for Floating and Mobile Systems, iv) Geosciences from the Coast to Deep Waters, v) Physics and Biochemistry of Oceans, vi) Oceans Observations & Modeling including the Ocean & Climate Nexus, vii) Ocean & Climate and Marine Biology & Pollution.
